Marnin Studio is a therapeutic healing space where women come to create, learn and relax.

The studio space cultivates the development of high quality homewares, printed textiles, stitched toys and painted boab nuts. The artworks reflect the artist’s deep knowledge of the local environment, culture and community.

“My name is Eileen Forrest. I’m a Walmajarri woman living in Ngurtuwarta community near Fitzroy Crossing. I started painting a long time ago. In 2013, I started painting boab nuts and canvasses at Marnin Studio. I come to the studio because I really like to paint with the other ladies.”
