We’re very excited to announce the dates for the 8th Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair!
Dates: 8-10th August 2014
Venue: Darwin Convention Centre
The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair is a unique event that showcases contemporary art from over forty community owned and operated Art Centres from across Australia. Converging under one roof, the Art Centres, artists and Arts Workers invite visitors to engage in public forums, workshops, and artist demonstrations. It is a rare opportunity for both industry buyers and the public to purchase such a diverse range of high quality art. Since launching in 2007, DAAF has grown to be the largest and most renowned national Indigenous art fair in Australia.
It is one of the peak events on Darwin’s cultural event calendar, and invites visitors to engage with Indigenous art and learn about traditional culture, practices, and dance.
With so many exciting things happening in Darwin in August, it is the perfect time to visit. With just a few months to go, it’s time to get planning!
