The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair is proud to showcase over fifty Aboriginal Art Centres from across Australia and will be open to the public over three spectacular days, at the Darwin Convention Centre, from the 7th-9th August.
The Fair is a chance to, not only see the incredible diversity of art works from the Art Centres from across Australia, but also to meet with the artists, get hands-on in the workshops and to see the cultural performances which happen daily.
We look forward to seeing you in August to celebrate the rich diversity of works that come from our country’s most remote desert and coastal regions, and rural and urban communities!
Art Centre Registrations are now open
The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair invites all Indigenous owned and operated Art Centres to participate in the 2015 event. The fair provides a unique opportunity for Art Centres, artists, and Arts Workers to showcase their work to new and enthusiastic audiences. In 2014, the event generated $1.67 million for the Indigenous art sector. All sales went directly back to the Art Centres, which contributed to strengthening the economy of their communities.
